Rodent and Insect Proof Vented Flap Valve

Stop rodents, frogs, insects and others from living in the end of your exposed PVC pipe.

Do you have a 3, or 6 inch PVC pipe that just ends without a cover over it? This hinged flap valve is the perfect solution to the open end of that PVC tube.

Hinged flap lifts up as outflow of water volume increases
Manufactured from lead free, BPA free materials
1/32" opening (aperture) stainless steel mesh screen
Schedule 40 PVC: 3" = The 6" ONLY fits SDR35
SDR Adapters are pre-installed in the 3 inch female end and will need to be removed to fit Schedule 40 PVC pipe

6" Hinge Flap DOES NOT FIT Schedule 40! It only fits thin wall SDR35

IF you are purchasing the Hinged Flap WITH Panel, we DO NOT install the panel. It is shipped as a separate part. The end user is responsible for attaching the panel to the Hinged Flap.

There are a variety of adhesives and options for attaching the Panel to the Hinges Flap

The screen has been covered over with the white acrylic panel

SDR Adapters are pre-installed in the 3 and 4 inch female end and will need to be removed to fit Schedule 40 PVC pipe

I was having trouble finding a good vent cover for a basement bathroom fan. Summer humidity was getting in the duct and causing condensation. This works great, keeping outside air from getting in while the fan isn't running. Well constructed and looks clean!

A: Good Day - When you scroll down the product page you will see a couple of images. These will confirm the unit is female.

Please be mindful that the SDR and Sch40 adapters are also preinstalled at the female end and need to be removed to fit your desired pipe type :-)

A: The screen is molded into the face of the flap. We supply a 1/8" thick acrylic panel for the user to affix to the flap panel.
