The middle hole of the strap is used to secure strap to the building (painted side against the building) Then pull the band around the sides of the downspout. Now screw or rivet through the band into the downspout on each side.
This band does NOT wrap the down pipe. It is designed to secure the down pipe on both sides of it to retain the down pipe in place. Made of .032 Aluminum
