This Aluminum Scupper Conductor Head adds a unique, beautiful architectural appeal while functioning to accept a larger volume water than a traditional outlet.
If you have a flat roof, getting that excess water drained quickly to prevent ponding is a must! Standing water can cause the roof membrane to deteriorate and even hasten failure. A scupper/conductor head can help move more water from the building to the downspouts more quickly to ensure the rainwater is draining more quickly.
With more water to move more quickly, there is reduced backing up and overflowing that could cause damage.
Installing this architectural shape also allows for multiple downspouts to be dumping water into 1 location to quickly alleviate overflow of a traditional gutter.
