Downspout Filter -

Leaves and other particulates are kept from continuing down the downspout with this larger unit. They land on the 45 degree angled screen and are washed off the front of the downspout filter. Smaller debris is collected in the second stage mesh filter.
- Larger unit than the Leaf Beater: 7.5" deep x 10.75" across x 11.25" tall.
- Leaf Eater is capable of filtering 3.5 litres per second when unrestricted by debris.
- Larger and better filter media in the bottom of this unit.
- Install this unit and connect it to your First
Flush Rain Water Diverter.
- 1/4" holes for rain water flow through the first screen
- Lead Free PVC - can be painted
- Available in 3" diameter round base only
- Both screens are removable for servicing.
This design permits leaves and debris to exit the downspout and it may have a 'splash factor'. You still have to ensure that the leaves and gutter waste are removed for this unit to work effectively.
The bottom of this downspout filter is 3" in diameter. Spec
Sheet (3.9 MB). Use
standard USA PVC parts to connect this downspout filter to a First
Flush Diverter.
This downspout filter is manufactured in Australia by Rain Harvesting using lead-free PVC.
