Coca-Cola Enterprises Bottling Company of Eau Claire will host a community rain barrel workshop in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin Extension (UWEX) Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Over one hundred rain barrels will be constructed by Coca-Cola employees and Master Gardner volunteers and provided to attendees free of charge. The rain barrels are made from recycled Coca-Cola syrup drums and Aquabarrel® rain barrel kits. As part of their commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability, Coca-Cola is dedicated to having a water-neutral impact on the local communities in which they operate.
This event is free and open to the public. Rain barrels will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
